I am Taylor, the heart and soul behind Deal Pickle Creative, LLC. Life threw everyone significant challenges in 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic. In January of 2020 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, knocking me off my feet even further. Thankfully, I caught the cancer early and with the love and support of friends and family, I was able to focus on recovery and healing. Unfortunately, in 2021, I made the difficult decision to dissolve Deal Pickle Creative. However, my journey was far from over.
The origin story of Deal Pickle Creative, LLC is deeply personal and whimsical. It was inspired by my childhood toy, a Heinz pickle on wheels, and a sweet tradition with my daughter, whom I call “Pickle.” Whenever we make a deal, I ask, “Is it a deal, Pickle?” This blend of
playful memories and personal moments led to the creation of Deal Pickle Creative, aiming to infuse fun and creativity into every project.
The First 12 Years of Deal Pickle Creative
Throughout my career, I have worked with incredible clients. These include real estate agent teams, brokerages, custom builders, a fantastic jazz singer (I had a blast designing her newest album, ‘What Matters” cover art!), and various small businesses. These experiences have deeply honed my marketing and branding skills. *(Note that the links share a handful who I have worked with in the past, but the websites and marketing work may be different from the work of Deal Pickle Creative due to my hiatus from marketing and their finding marketing experts to continue their journey.)
My Career Detour
After taking some time off, and not knowing what the future held, I obtained additional certification as a paralegal with a focus on real estate law. (I do not sit still well, lol.) I explored a career in law, and while it provided valuable insights, I quickly realized my true passion lay in the creative and dynamic world of real estate marketing. This revelation guided me back to my roots.
Country Roads, Take Me Home
In July of 2023, I moved to the beautiful town of Boone. I wanted to be closer to my parents, who are in Blowing Rock where my mom is bravely facing the late stages of Parkinson’s disease.
In Boone, I found my home. I was lucky enough to begin working as the marketing director and office administrator at a top realty brokerage here in Boone. This opportunity allowed me to sharpen my real estate and marketing skills. I soon realized that being creative in a confined office space wasn’t for me—I needed space to thrive and be inspired. The revitalization of Deal Pickle Creative began.

Today, I am back with renewed energy and a grateful heart. I am excited to bring you Deal Pickle Creative, LLC, Boone edition.
